1. Orange Juice
Vitamin C is a very important ingredient in bleaching and lightening the skin. Consuming oranges on a regular basis can improve both the smoothness and the color of your skin. Oranges can be used in different ways. Mix two tablespoons of orange juice with a turmeric powder. Apply the mixture by the use of a cotton ball before you go to bed. Wash after 30 minutes. Repeat this for several days to improve your skin color. You can also squeeze juice from the oranges, add salt and black pepper then drink. The juice will detoxify your body and give you the fair complexion you need.
Milk contains saturated fats, protein, calcium, and vitamin C. Mix milk with honey to form a paste. Apply the paste for 10 to 15 minutes and allow it to dry. Wash it off with Luke warm water. Also, you can combine milk, sandalwood and turmeric powder to form a solution. Apply all over the face and wait for it to dry. Afterward, use lukewarm water to wash it off.
3. Aloe Vera
Use Aloe Vera plant extract. It contains antioxidants vitamins A, C and E. All you have to do is mix Aloe Vera extract with a tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply the solution on your face and neck. Leave it for 30 minutes before you rinse the skin.
Mix a tablespoon of Aloe Vera extract with honey. Apply the paste and rinse it off after 30 minutes. Repeat this for a couple of days for better results.
Yoghurt has lactic acid that is responsible for lightening skin. It is effective for dry and oily skin. Mix a tablespoon of yoghurt with turmeric powder and apply this on the entire face and neck. Wait for 15 minutes so that it dries completely. Wash and rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat this for some days.
5. Use Carrot
This remedy is most suitable for people with oily skin. Carrot contains vitamin C, an ingredient for healthy and lighter skin. Boil few pieces of carrots and blend, mix with few drops of milk and lemon to form a paste. Apply this paste on your skin and leave it to dry for few minutes. Wash with enough water. Repeat this for a whole week to attain a lighter and smooth skin.
6. Apply Egg White
Egg white is not only used as food, its protein content too makes it be useful in improving our skin. Separate egg white from the yolk, use a brush to apply on the areas that you want to lighten, wait till it dries completely, and then wash with enough water.
7. Use Chamomile Flowers
Have you struggled to change your skin tone and color with no positive result? Then this is one of the cheapest home remedies to achieve that color. Add 1 to 2 teaspoon of dried and crushed chamomile flower in a glass of water, add honey and leave it for few minutes. Apply on your face and neck, let it stay for 30 minutes then wash and rinse with warm water. Repeated procedure for days gives better results.
