Dear Sufna | A Heartfelt Note from a Fan to a Movie

Movies have always been a special part of our lives. We watch some to enjoy, some to live in a fictional work of magic and superpowers, some to get inspired and some to just pass our time.

But then come those movies which touch our souls and make their place in our hearts. These kinds of movies talk to our inner selves. We tend to learn some important lessons and then also apply those lessons in our daily lives.

The movie, Sufna, which came recently got the attention of so many people due to its beautiful storyline and lively characters. Loved by many and felt by few, the movie got a lovely letter from a Fan.

Dear Sufna,

Thank you for giving us innocence in the trend of dark content. The cotton fields had the refreshing romance we all were looking for. Thank you for letting us know the power of true selfless love, and to not be a futile lover.

Teg, you had a traumatic childhood and it was stuck with you wherever you go yet you were patient. That very patience made you overcome those tough times and gave you hope for a better future that you deserved. From waiting for your father to getting jeered by your aunt every time, you were humble and never let your charming smile fade. You were strong but vulnerable.

Jeet, you liked her teeth and perhaps was never afraid of expressing your true feelings to her and the fact that she could bite you with those very teeth. You really made us think twice about the idea of love we all possess.

At the start, you were just like a normal guy who falls for a  girl but soon you gifted us with the message that It’s not important to get an exchange of love you give. Sometimes just giving it without any expectations makes you more strong and just let the universe decide the rest  :’) Your emotions, jokes, wisdom, banter- everything was rightly fit in us!

Thanks for a beautiful ending, Jeet’s surprise to Teg was a perfect gift one can ever give it to their love, thanks for making us believe that It’s all gonna be okay in the end and not to forget the touching songs of B Praak in the movie, they are so close to our heartstrings!
