That’s why you need to develop team building activities for women that will boost their self-esteem and help them to realize just how many good qualities they have. All you need to do is find the right activities.
1. The Great Race
For corporate team building activities, you can find out all about the Great Race. As the name suggests it’s a race. But, you can make it a great bonding event. Simply place the women into teams and tell them their goal is to complete the race in the fastest possible time as a team.
That means they have to work together to complete it. It’s surprising how effective this approach can be.
2. A Picnic
Eating is a great way for any group of people to bond. You need to encourage your team to bring an item to share, that should ensure there is enough food for everyone. More importantly, this will provide a conversation starter.
If your team doesn’t need to return to the office you can even allocate a few drinks, to help the team-building process.

3. Pass The Envelope
This is a great way for people to build each other up and, because it’s done anonymously, it’s a good way of building the team at the same time. The group needs to sit in a circle and then each person writes their name on an envelope and puts a piece of blank paper in it. This is passed to their right. As the envelope goes around every person in the group writes one compliment about the person named on the envelope.
When the envelope has been around the room the originator can read the comments.
The compliments need to be read aloud and the reader guesses who wrote each comment. If you get it right you get a point and the one with the most points wins. More importantly, every woman gets to keep an envelope of compliments, it’s nice to know how appreciated you really are.
4. Secrets
Communication is essential in business and this game builds on that while improving the team morale.
One woman from the group is selected and leaves the room. The remainder of the group chooses a secret word. Then, the woman returns and the rest of the team ask her questions and find other ways to get her to say the secret word.
When they say the secret word another woman must leave the room and the game continues. The game isn’t about guessing the secret word, it’s about learning to communicate with each other.
5. Two Truths & One Lie
Every woman in the group must write down two truths and one lie about themselves. Everyone then takes it in turns to read out their list to the group. The others have to guess which is a lie and which are true. If they guess correctly they’ll gain points and you can award a prize.
But, your team will also learn some interesting facts about each other.
6. The Ball Toss
Get a beach ball and write some light-hearted commands on it, such as “tell your favorite joke”, or “which sitcom character are you most like”. The ball is then tossed around the room. When someone catches it they have to read the command closest to their left fun and do what it says. It’s another great way of building communication and rapport because the team is getting to know each other better.
