6 Best PC Games For A Solo Gamer

Single-player games are still one of the favorites for some gamers out there. It gives you more excitement without your friends. Especially to those introvert players who want to play alone.

Best PC Games:

So check out these games listed below and try it on your own.

Celeste

The Nintendo Switch’s newest 2D platformer hones in on that specific aspect, with the main objective being to jump, dash, and climb your way to the top of a mysterious mountain. This game can be a part of your best single player pc games that you’ve ever played. The game even takes place in a faraway magical world in Canada. Before playing Celeste, I only knew two things.

It was a platformer, and that it was going to be hard. After completing it, you can say that both of those are still true, but the game is so much more than that. Perhaps what surprised me most was the story. Unlike most platformers that have simple stories that don’t leave much of an impact, Celeste did.

It starts simply enough “Madeline” the main character, wants to climb a mountain in order to escape the daily frustrations of regular life. However, as you climb higher up the mountain the game not only gets more challenging for the player, but it also becomes mentally challenging for Madeline.

Empire Of Sin

A title from Paradox Interactive and Romero Games, Empire Of Sin takes us to the high-risk times of the Prohibition Era in the 1920s. That means we’re driving into the Mafioso life in a Chicago blooming with smoke, bullets, and blues. Not necessarily in that order. As a character-driven strategy RPG, the Empire of Sin has the feel of the popular Mafia series with the combat of the even more popular XCOM.

Choose from 14 different characters and become the up and coming Empresario in the world of crime. To do all that, the Empire of Sin has a free-roaming map for you to interact with other people, as well as a World Overview map that shows you all your competition. A blend of Mafia management, it’s coming out this Spring 2020 on the PC and Switch.

Dying Light 2

Techland’s passion project returns and this sequel gives you more freedom than ever before. Like the first game, parkour, and first-person combat remain as core elements, but this time, it’s more refined and brutal. It’s been 15 years since humanity lost to the virus, play as a young survivor who adapted to the infection. Use his newfound abilities to take advantage of the massive horde of the undead.

In this sequel, not only you will be pitted against an even dangerous world, your choices will matter. Make decisions or sacrifices that will impact the game’s story, and ultimately the ending. Coming this Spring 2020 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Psychonauts 2

The road for this sequel has been tough especially with publisher issues and funding matters. But, thanks to the efforts of Kickstarter fans and the developers themselves, our dreams might finally come true. A much-awaited sequel, Psychonauts 2 will be following up the story of the 2005 original.

In it, we’ll see Raz taking up the helm once more as he notices something different afoot. From what we’re seeing so far, it looks like its gonna be another weird and delightful adventure, and it’s set to release hopefully in the year 2020 on the PC, PS, and Xbox One.

Tales Of Arise

Bandai Namco’s latest Tales game veers away from the shared universe of the previous titles. For the first time in a long time, Arise takes you into a whole new world torn apart by ideologies. Still embracing that fantasy charm, play as two characters with the same goal of uniting their divided world once and for all.

Aside from an original world, Arise also features a fresh cast of characters that are as memorable as any other Tales games out there. In addition to that, its improvement of the Linear Motion Battle System makes combat even more satisfying. No release date yet, but it’s slated for a 2020 release. Coming to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Conclusion

Being a solo player doesn’t mean you are a loner, maybe you just want to play alone to escape the outside world problems and live to the world of fantasy games for a while to have the inner peace of mind. Enjoying yourself as much as you want that no one can distract you.
